Briefing paper for companies

The Public Transport Not Traffic campaign along with Public Transport Users Association (PTUA) and Friends of the Earth (FOE) sent a letter to a range of ethical institutional investors about the social, environmental and governance risks associated with the toll road. You can read our letter here.

Today, the preferred bidder for the toll road was announced. We will be requesting a meeting promptly with the leading company, Lend Lease.

Planning Minister Guy's recent decision to grant conditional approval for the East-West Link has been hailed by some as a reprieve for Royal Park. In my opinion, this is clearly not the case.

Federal agencies blow the whistle on #EWLink

A draft report issued by Infrastructure Australia (IA) has well and truly blown the whistle on the waste and mismanagement of government road spending. Tellingly titled "Spend more, Waste more" - and with the above photo on the front cover - the report is scathing about the way road authorities have pursued more and bigger roads.
